Friends, I have discovered the game changer for the classic case of FOMO (fear of missing out). House Account (HA) is a free app that allows you to follow your favorite boutiques to view their new arrivals, styles, and trends via a personalized news feed. By downloading the app and selecting the boutiques you want to follow, a personalized feed of new arrivals appears the moment you open the app. Not only does it provide a simple + interactive shopping experience but it is also a great space to find inspiration for styling! My favorite function of the app is the ability to chat with a sales associate when I have found something I really want or have a question about how to style it for the fall.

Here are some other helpful tips for House Account members:

• Utilize the Like Feature. In the app, you can always view all of your likes through a visual feed. I usually search House Account when I’m waiting in the line for coffee, so I may not have time to chat with a sales associate. By liking the picture, it allows me to revisit it at a later time.
• Check out the Editor’s Pull: Trending Items + Editor’s Picks. Located in the app’s discover tab, this is a great way to find products that are popular with their 50,000 members. I like to use this resource to find seasonal trends.
• Search for Boutiques on HA Before You Visit a City. I love using HA app to find boutiques that I want to visit when I travel to a new city. This way, it gives me idea of where to go for the best shopping. It gives you a sense of the shop’s style and if you visit the boutique — it can save you time + maximize your shopping experience.
