Valentine’s Day in Savannah
Spending the Day at Wormsloe Plantation
With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, I was brainstorming fun and adventurous things for couples to do this weekend. I recalled the countless picturesque images of Wormsloe Plantation’s Oak avenue I’ve seen. After visiting, I am confident that it’s the perfect atmosphere for Valentine’s Day. If you’re looking for something unique and romantic to do this Sunday, then check out my feature on Southern Living’s The Daily South for details on Wormsloe Plantation.
I teamed up with the James Gunn boutique in Savannah—which is only a 3 minute drive from the plantation! I was shopping for an outfit that was both practical for walking around the plantation grounds and appropriate for a dinner date. After enjoying an afternoon at the plantation, I recommend trading in flats for heels, and touching up your lipstick on the way to a Valentine’s Day dinner at either The Florence or Cotton & Rye!
For my day spent at Wormsloe, I wore a classic BB Dakota Janae Crepe Cape ($73) over an Amanda Uprichard top ($156). I kept it simple by pairing that with Mother Denim white jeans ($185) and Tory Burch Reva flats ($250). Savannah based jewelry designer Mary Liz Craft of M. Liz Jewelry designed the earrings and necklace that I wore using all natural elements.
I hope you have a fun and exciting Valentine’s Day!
