A Galvanized Bucket Three Ways
Repurpose Your World Market Galvanized Bucket For Use Around the Home
This post is in partnership with World Market.
I’m always looking for creative ways to repurpose classic household items. I use my World Market Party Tub all the time, and for a variety of different purposes. So today I’m sharing three practical + unique ways to reuse your galvanized bucket.
- Display ‘Ready to Drink’ Cocktails. Everyone knows that galvanized buckets are great to chill soda or beer for a party, but you can take it a step further by using one to display your pre-made cocktails! Place the ready to drink cocktails in the tub with ice. If you’re looking for a refreshing and delicious cocktail to serve this summer, check out my recipe for the Paloma!
- Use the Galvanized Bucket as a Planter. I adore the look of galvanized metal and also love how it’s lightweight, durable, and long lasting. This makes for an ideal planter that could hold colorful hydrangeas, ivy topiaries, or even herbs! Don’t forget to drill a few holes in the bottom to ensure that it properly drains when you water the plants. I’d also recommend adding a layer of gravel in the bottom to help the water filter through the plants and soil.
- Organize Bath Towels. Roll your bath towels (or beach towels) and stack them in the bucket. You can display them on the counter in the guest bathroom for family and friends to use, or place it in your laundry room. Not only is this an amazing way to organize your towels, but it also condenses them so they take up less space. This will leave your bathroom or laundry room looking neat and tidy.
These are just a few fun ways I like to use my galvanized tub. Let me know some of your favorite ways to use a party tub!
