Here on the island, it’s finally swimsuit weather, and I’m ready to take on summer with my gingham swimsuit (top and bottoms) from J.Crew factory! When I came across this suit, I knew I needed it for my recent vacation with JetBlue Getaway. We stayed at the Seven Stars Resort in the Turks and Caicos! The crystal clear blue waters on Grace Bay could not possibly be any more beautiful! If you ever get the chance to see their pristine, white sandy beaches that give way to seemingly forever clear seas, it is a memory that will always be engrained in your mind. Needless to say, we really enjoyed spending the day by the ocean and even taking naps and waking up seaside.

For my beach day, I chose this suit because I love the classic feel of navy and white checks. This is my favorite swimsuit style because you can wear it as a strapless bandeau for laying out, and then easily add the strap if you want to wear it while walking around. Of course, no look is complete without the proper accessories, so I paired it with this fun, Panama Hat and some sunnies.

If you need a break from the peaceful, soft sand, then you can head up to their gorgeous pool. The stunning mosaic pool serves as the centerpiece of the Seven Stars resort. The island’s only heated saltwater pool features fabulous ocean views and gracious pool attendants who are there to assist you with anything from food and beverage to towels. They also have beachside attendants that will happily fulfill any requests, so all you have to do is relax and enjoy your beach day. We loved the beachside service and couldn’t possibly say enough positive things about their staff and the unparalleled experience they created.

Another incredible perk of staying at the Seven Stars Resort is their fabulous coconut bar, which we went to countless times for fresh coconut water. If you like buying coconut water at the grocery store, just wait till you’ve tried it straight from a coconut! You can also add rum and mix your own cocktail if you’re in the mood for enjoying a drink on the beach!
