I absolutely love dresses, thus I always opt to wear one instead of a pair of jeans, shorts or a skirt. You may be wondering why, and the truth is that if you find the right dress, it can be comfortable, stylish and easy since you don’t have to put together an entire outfit. It’s so nice to just slip it on and head out the door! I typically work from home or Wake Up Coffee on St. Simons, and you can always find me either wearing yoga pants and a pullover or a dress. I guess I go from one extreme to the other, but I’m always in search of perfect pieces to add to my wardrobe that blend comfort and fashion. Since I tend to lean toward dresses, when I find one that’s flattering and also has a fun print, I usually buy it in two different colors. When I find a dress I love, I tend to get good use out of it–which is certainly the case with this Polka Dot Shift dress from J.Crew Factory. I’ve worn it three times now — to church, for an evening in the Turks and Caicos, and to enjoy cocktails with friends. I get incredible compliments on it everywhere I go!

This dress is called the Factory Printed Drapey T-Shirt Dress in navy and ivory dot print. I opted for the Petite size and it fit me perfectly. The dress is also available in two other adorable patterns, so choose one that fits your personality. I was drawn to the navy and ivory dot print because I love classic looks, and you can never go wrong with polka dots! I paired the T-shirt dress with the Strappy Canvas Espadrille Wedges in flax. I’m so glad I got these shoes because I’ve worn them with multiple outfits, such as this classic white outfit, my navy and white striped dress, and this long sleeve tropical print dress. It’s proof that these espadrilles go with everything! Now that is a purchase even my husband would be proud of! Last but not least, I accessorized the dress with this leather ivory belt and a gold cuff — both from J.Crew Factory! Not only do they have beautiful clothes, but they always have fun shoes, accessories, and jewelry!

I’ve posted about J.Crew Factory multiple times on Lavin Label because it’s a brand that I’m passionate about. Their clothes are high quality and available at a great price point, thanks to the factory. However, this tried and true formula means their clothes sell out quickly. This past week I had my eyes on a boho style dress and when I went back to my cart to purchase it, my size was sold out! So my advice is that if you instantly love something, you should go ahead and buy it!
