DIY Stovetop Potpourii
A Homemade + Fall Inspired Potpourri
Since returning to my home after Hurricane Irma, I’ve been doing little things around the house to make it feel like a home. Yesterday, I created my own handmade stove top potpourri so that I’d have a fresh and lemon-scented fragrance in my kitchen! It was super easy to do and I’ll definitely be doing more of these homemade stove top combinations especially this holiday season.
Directions:
In a saucepan, combine 3 cups of water, 2 lemons (sliced), 4-5 sprigs of rosemary and 2 tablespoons vanilla extract. Bring the water to a boil. Then let simmer.
I let it simmer for about 45 minutes and my house smelled great. If you love the smell of Rosemary, then I’d recommend that you add a bit more. It’s a super fragrant herb and it really fills your home. Do you have any combinations that you’d recommend?
