Art of the Entry: Charleston, South Carolina
My Top #ArtoftheEntry Favs in the Holy City
This past weekend, I took a quick jaunt to Charleston, South Carolina with my sister and my mom. We spent the day in the Holy City walking the streets South of Broad. I’m always inspired by homes, especially the entries because it reveals so much about the history of the home and the homeowner’s personalities which is why I’ve started the #ArtoftheEntry over a year ago. I’ve been using it since to document my favorite entries everywhere I travel. Here are five that caught my eye in Charleston. If you like what you see, check out all of my other posts on #ArtoftheEntry for more home inspiration. And if you’re headed to Charleston, check out my mini travel guide.
One. Everything about this is beautiful: the front doors, gas lantern, intricate wrought iron gate and the marble tile.
Two. This home stopped me right in my tracks. I absolutely LOVE the round porch and half spiral staircase covered in ivy.
Three. This white on white entry allows the wisteria to take center stage.
Four. I love anything with pineapples (hence my logo) so I love how these pillars topped with pineapples frame the front door.
Five. I love how the porch is framed with the blue and white planters.
