Just last week I shared my kitchen reveal with you and today I’m sharing our master bedroom! Since we’re living in the carriage house until the main house is ready it was very important to create a very comfortable + serene bedroom, so of course we to turned to Saatva.
I really value sleep, probably a little too much! I hardly ever miss an afternoon nap and I aim to be in bed by 10:00 pm most nights. We all know that having a good night sleep sets us up for a successful day ahead. All of this could be the reason why I especially love to decorate a master bedroom but it does need to start with a good base — a Saatva. I opted for their Loom and Leaf memory foam mattress which is made in the USA and handcrafted with eco-friendly 5lb memory foam. I especially love the organic cotton cover and breathable foam that helps keep me cool at night. This luxury mattress is seriously comfortable and Saatva is my number one recommendation for mattresses.
To complete the luxurious look and feel, I dressed the bed with Garnet Hill sheets, a duvet cover and a plush quilt. Out of all of the sheets that I took with me from my old home, I definitely brought Garnet Hill’s organic cotton sheets. They are incredibly soft and somehow they get softer with each wash. Their signature dot embroidered duvet adds another layer of heavenly goodness and I always fold a quilt at the bottom of the bed in case we need an additional cover at night. I love how everything turned out and it’s definitely become my favorite retreat in the house.
