An Update with our Home Renovation
My First Audio Post with a Home Reno Update
I’m trying something new today! Instead of writing a blog post giving you an update about our home renovation — I thought that I would record an audio snippet instead. It’s about 8 minutes long and walks you through the timeline, kitchen renovation and planning process in my own words.
Why?
It takes me such a long time to craft a blog post! I can spend hours on it. It’s much easier for me to talk about it. I tried doing Instastories but they only last 24 hours unless you add it to a highlight. I’ve been looking for a medium to connect with you in a causal, authentic and personal way — so hence audio posts! I’m obsessed with podcasts because I can listen to them in the car, on a walk/run, etc. So that gave me the idea to do something similar. I’m just using an audio recording app on my Mac and uploading it to my blog platform. It’s super easy on my end — and I’m hoping that it conveys the information a bit more clearly than a 250+ word blog post.
Anyways, I’d love to know what you think! Does it need to be shorter? Can you hear me clearly? Did you have any difficulty playing it?
How You Can Listen.
To listen to my first audio post, just click play on the audio player below. It’s about 8-9 minutes long. You may need to give it a few seconds to buffer depending upon your bandwidth.

I enjoyed listening to the audio post! I love the pictures of the space as it is now and cannot wait to see it all come together! Good luck.
Thank you!
