I finally have my first IGTV video! It’s not perfect but I wanted to give you a tour of the home as it is before the contractors start work. I kept thinking that I had to work with a professional videographer to capture video for you but then I remembered that it doesn’t have to be perfect. Instead, I thought that you would probably appreciate the real life behind the scenes. And so, I just went ahead and started recording.

I wanted to keep the video less than 5 minutes so a Part II is on its way to show you the rest of the home.

I really appreciate all of your kind and supportive comments so far! It’s actually a bit scary documenting this process because I’m making every decision public — paint colors, furniture, fabrics, etc. To be honest, I find myself second guessing decisions because I don’t have a design background. Have you recently read the comments on some of the feeds such as HGTV or House Beautiful? Some readers can be so nasty. However, this is such a great challenge for me and every time a new piece of furniture or fabric arrives it makes me smile. So thank you for following along this (very public) journey of mine.
