Foyer Wallpaper Reveal
My Wallpaper Selection from Farrow & Ball
Last fall I asked for your help on Instagram (see post below) to help choose a wallpaper design for my entry. I was overwhelmed with the amount of responses — it was so helpful! Being able to easily get your feedback is one of the best advantages of Instagram in my opinion! Thank you!
First, were the three choices from Farrow & Ball that I narrowed it down to for my foyer. Left to right: Broad Stripe ST 13109, Ringwold BP 1638, Ringwold BP 1647.
And now for the results! The color blue won the majority of votes. However I kept hearing that I needed something with movement unlike the stripe but the floral options were just a bit too busy for this specific large space. So I went back to the drawing board and ordered another sample from Farrow & Ball that I somehow missed on their website. When the St. Antoine sample arrived I just knew that it was the one! I opted for the light blue and white combination (BP 946) and it was just what the foyer needed. I’m obsessed! What do you think?
It’s a beautiful damask pattern and was first produced back in 1793. Close up you can see abundant blooms, preening birds and lush foliage in the design. It also perfectly compliments the Circa Lighting Diego Perching Bird Lantern that we hung in the foyer which also has birds in its design.
Though the foyer isn’t fully decorated just yet, I took some pictures for you so that you can see the wallpaper in the space. It really brightens the room. Farrow & Ball wallpaper is truly special because it’s printed with Farrow & Ball paint, which allows for an effortlessly cohesive look with the paint and wallpaper. In addition, it’s created using eco-friendly, water based paint and fully recyclable paper from sustainable forests. Lastly, each roll is finished with a fine layer of specially formulated glaze ensuring that the paper is wipeable, stain proof and durable. This was really important for me since we have two dogs and a lot of foot traffic in our house.
Once we’re settled in the house and I’ve had some time to decorate, I’ll share a full reveal of the entry showcasing the rugs, drapes, trimmings and other lighting selections. Stay tuned.

Wow, what a perfect choice for the space! The color and pattern is spot on and really speaks to the age of the home, but is still modern! Love it thanks for sharing😀
