Foyer Home Update (Video)

An IGTV Tour of My Foyer

I’m absolutely grateful for all of your messages and interest in my latest IGTV video tours! I thought that it’d be a great time to give you an update with our foyer because it’s one of the rooms that is almost finished. Adding a bit more artwork + tabletop decor will make the space complete!

The biggest impact of the space was definitely the wallpaper and lighting! It’s so fun to see the whole process come to life! The wallpaper is Farrow & Ball St. Antoine BP 946. For more details on the wallpaper, please visit my foyer wallpaper reveal post.

My IGTV video (Instagram TV) starts with a before video of the entry and then heads into the installation of the wallpaper. I’m obsessed with the color and how it perfectly complements the aged brass light fixtures and light switches.

The foyer lantern is Circa Lighting Diego Perching Bird Lantern. Like the wallpaper, it also has bird details which brings the wallpaper to life. I love that the lantern is open as it’s not too heavy for the space.

I also added two delicate table lamps on the custom skirted table. The Bryant Table Lamps in hand rubbed antique brass are the perfect size for the narrow entry table. It also has two brightness settings which I switch between often from daytime to night-time. I love these precious lamps!

I’m also obsessed with the custom drapes + trimmings. This is always my favorite part of the decorating process because drapes really soften the space. Since the St. Antoine wallpaper from Farrow & Ball was a large pattern, I opted for one of my favorite smaller patterns from Thibaut for the drapes and valances. The Bijou fabric in light blue was actually one of the first fabrics that I picked out for the house. I wasn’t sure which room I was going to incorporate it into but as soon as the foyer was coming together I knew that it would be great for the drapes and valances.

A tassel fringe from Samuel and Sons added the perfect detail and gave me the opportunity to add a contrast color. I opted for the La Petite Tassel Fringe in Cream/Tan/Rose. I get so many compliments about the combination of the Thibaut Bijou fabric and Samuel and Sons trim!

I turned to Annie Selke for my runner upstairs. I love Annie Selke and I actually purchased a rug from them for my double parlor. They’re great quality and they always have awesome designs. I choose the Bengal Loom Knotted Wool Rug to add a contrast color to the light blue wallpaper and valances.

Lastly, I’ve been following Forbes & Lomax for years on Instagram. I thought that their aged light switches were made for our Savannah home! I choose their switches in aged brass to coordinate with the lighting and door hardware.

I’d love to know what you think of the foyer! And remember it’s not 100% complete yet! You can watch the video tour below!

Wow! I love what you’ve done. Where did you source the long entry table?
