I love Savannah in the spring. It’s my absolute favorite time of year with the promise of Azaleas and Camellias about to bloom! My husband and I take full advantage of the mild spring temperatures by walking to church, local coffee shops and our favorite brunch spots. But for me the best thing about spring is spending time in our courtyard and gardening with no humidity.
So during my recent trip to Jacksonville, Florida I stopped by Christmas Tree Shops AndThat! to stock up on outdoor decor and gardening items. Their shelves were overflowing with beautiful pastel garden pots, faux topiary boxwoods, and an array of gardening tools just in time to give our courtyard a much needed refresh!
Many of their items vary from store to store which offers you a treasure-like experience as you’re shopping. I bought a mix of planters that look stylish outdoors yet align with my traditional decor. I tend to group pots together so I ended up choosing three different garden pots from Christmas Tree Shops AndThat! varying in color and height. I opted to plant ferns and other outdoor plants in them and topped it off with preserved Spanish moss to cover the soil, ultimately giving it a polished look. I also love boxwood topiaries, so I purchased a few of their faux plants to style them on my bistro table for an everyday look with a no-hassle maintenance!
Christmas Tree Shops AndThat! stores offer affordable and stylish items that allow you to mix up your decor for every season, and right now they have everything that you need for the outdoors. In addition to their new array of garden pots, I also purchased floral-inspired entertaining items, such as dinner plates, glassware, a tablecloth and more to create an outdoor dining moment for Casey and me. We’ve definitely been savoring this time together before our little one arrives later this spring!
My outdoor garden dining moment was inspired by beautiful floral plates, glistening with pale blues, pinks and greens that I found in-store. I complemented them with a soft grey and green check tablecloth and sage green salad plates topped with a whimsical fern impression. I added a few candlesticks to keep our plates lit at dusk to complete the look. The mini tablescape perfectly highlighted the essence of our courtyard and helped make a routine dinner extra special.
