Our Home in Southern Living
Our Savannah Home Decorated for the Holidays
Southern Living Magazine featured our home in their December issue! While I provided tours of most of the rooms on my blog, it looks totally different all decked out for Christmas. It was an absolute pleasure working with the all-female dream team — with photography by Alison Gootee, styling by Elizabeth Demos along with the floral and greenery design by August Floral Event Design.
I was actually 6 months pregnant during this photoshoot. Luckily, Southern Living asked to shoot our home during Christmas last year, so I didn’t have to decorate in the middle of summer. Knowing that it would come out a year later, I added one more stocking on the mantel for baby Julia.
You can see the full feature in the December issue of Southern Living Magazine which is out on newsstands now.

Lovely! Can you source that adorable Christmas stocking on the left? Thanks!
That was my husband’s grandmother’s stocking, now used for our daughter — it’s a family heirloom piece. You can always try to find needlepoint stockings on Etsy, or show someone a similar design and have them recreate it.
I love the wall paper in your foyer. What is the name of the pattern? Thanks. Beautiful
Home!
Thank you! It’s Farrow & Ball St. Antoine. I have it linked on my foyer update post on my blog, just search for it in the search bar.
Love your decorating and the photos in Southern Living. Could you source the chandalier in your living room in front of the fire place? I think it has about 8 lights. It is exactly what I have been looking for!
Thank you,
Hi Betsy! Sure. It’s from Circa Lighting, part of the Gramercy collection.
Hi Monica,
I enjoy your southern taste and style! I really like the check rug in your kitchen. Would you mind sharing the name of the manufacturer?
Thank you,
Carlyn
Sure. Its from Annie Selke. I linked to it in my Kitchen Reveal.
The blue ribbon you used is exquisite! Where did you source it?
