This year my family and I are headed to Montage Palmetto Bluff to celebrate Christmas and our two pups will be in tow. Since both of them are on Santa’s nice list, they definitely needed a little something special from St. Nick under the tree.
As a result, I hopped in my car and drove to my nearest Christmas Tree Shops AndThat! while listening to Christmas music and sipping a warm Chai Latte. I’ve mentioned this store on my blog many times before because it’s a great place to shop an assortment of home items, entertaining essentials and dog accessories. And since we have a very dog-friendly block, I purchased a few extra toys that are sure to make the neighborhood dogs’ tails wag!
Christmas Tree Shops AndThat! stores are open, and are following the recommended CDC COVID-19 protocols. It was really nice to go into a physical store where I felt safe and cross a few people (and pets) off of my list. They have a large selection of doggie goods such as treats, holiday apparel, dog beds and a plethora of toys. I immediately grabbed the Nerf Frisbee for Riley and a plush reindeer squeaky toy for Gracie. I was also really impressed with the gift wrapping options, so I decided to make treat tins for the pups on our street. My shopping cart was soon filled with Gingerbread treats, holiday-themed dog waste bags, toys and scented candles to mask any dog-related smells, ha.
I came home and quickly got to work by filling the tins with toys and treats for our furry friends. I hid the gifts for Gracie and Riley (duh) and started to assemble the gifts with the pups by my side. I had to repeatedly take the toys away from slobbery mouths and refill the treats (I don’t think they know the true meaning of Christmas just yet) but in the end I was very happy with how everything turned out. I can truly say that the treat tins are dog-approved. I even tied them with a bow using a beautiful ribbon that I found at the store, and added an adorable bell gift tag! If you’d like to spread some holiday cheer and create treat tins for your furry friends, head to Christmas Tree Shops AndThat! and shop their large assortment of pet goodies.
