We’ve had so much rain these past few weeks, so it’s a real treat to finally experience sun and warmer temperatures. As soon as the weather is pleasant, I tend to spend my time in the courtyard whether it’s just relaxing and sipping tea or playing with the pups. So when I spotted these sweet and colorful pots from Christmas Tree Shops AndThat!, I knew that I had found my weekend project. With Julia in tow, I popped by our local nursery and purchased rosemary, cabbage and my absolute favorite flowers, White Stream — a combination of plants that works well in full sunlight. Once everything was loaded in my car, we were off to the house to get some work done.
I’ve shared my obsession with Christmas Tree Shops AndThat! on my blog many times in the past. They always have unique and affordable new arrivals, almost every month. It’s truly a fun experience when you walk in the doors of their store because you never know what treasure you might find. Some of my favorite February arrivals are mix-and-match planters, spring wreaths, and quirky front door mats. I also snagged the cutest Easter basket for Julia (shh).
I opted for a more classic, French-style urn with a beautiful glaze in soft stone and green colors. Because of the price, I was able to snag multiple ones to create a big impact in my courtyard.
Because the planters are small and lightweight, they can easily be moved around the house. At first, I put them in a vintage galvanized steel cart next to my outdoor bistro table. Later in the week, I moved a few of the rosemary and cabbage pots to the kitchen. And they also look great scattered on my steps framing my door.
Christmas Tree Shops AndThat! are open and are following the recommended CDC COVID-19 guidelines. Find your local store and get spring-ready! Are you ready to give your home a refresh for spring?!
