Meet Boot Atelier Miron Crosby at Palmetto Bluff
And Shop Dolly, Exclusive Boots in Partnership with G&G
Summer has finally come to a close which is usually a tough time for me because I live for beach days, cookouts and flip flops. Though this year I’m coping a bit better because in October I have the pleasure of meeting the founding sisters of Miron Crosby at the Artist in Residence Program at Palmetto Bluff.
The sisters, Lizzie Means Duplantis and Sarah Means, started a luxury boot brand that is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The designs are inspired by their childhood at their West Texas family cattle ranch. The boots are designed by the talented sisters and finished by hand in New York City.
Luckily for us, the founders are participating in the Artist in Residence program, a collaboration between Garden & Gun and Palmetto Bluff that celebrates the arts, fosters creativity and offers a hands-on education. The October 7-12th line-up includes a Meet & Greet with Lizzie and Sarah, a trunk show and lessons in leather and boot design. Yes to all of the above!
To celebrate, Miron Crosby in partnership with Garden & Gun have launched Dolly, a whimsical tulip pattern boot that is worth the splurge! The feminine design is crafted from navy and créme leather and pair well with denim or floral dresses. The Dolly boots are available for pre-order through September 9th for a December deliver — just in time for Christmas.
