Who doesn’t like being part of a Club?  Here’s your chance but be warned: dues and initiation include the purchase of an artisan craft cocktail that may likely lead to many more.  Welcome to The Cocktail Club, the speak easy for the Charlestonian.

Charleston is known for its bustling food and beverage scene. Numerous restaurants and cocktail bars line the Upper King Design District, once (like 10 years ago) was a ‘sketchy’ part of town. Amidst all the new development it can prove to be a challenge to find the best spots where locals hang. Tucked away on Upper King (above Macintosh) The Cocktail Club specializes in the lost art of artisan cocktails – the real deal.  The historic 1881 building fits the theme perfectly – exposed wood beams, reclaimed wood throughout, Charleston brick fireplaces, and salvaged civil war era doors – you get the idea.   Calling the masterminds behind the bar ‘bartenders’ does not do their role justice.  The glasses, types of ice, fresh ingredients, house made mixers and awesome array of spirits have all been carefully selected for our entertainment.
