Cocktails and Carols with Savannah Magazine
A fresh twist on the Classic Christmas Party
Merry Christmas Eve everyone! Today, I’m sharing my Cocktails and Carols holiday party that I re-created Savannah Magazine! Last year I hosted this party for my friends on St. Simons Island and I had so much fun that I wanted to share it with you!
If you’re looking for a unique idea for a party that will sure to impress your guests, then host your first Cocktails and Carols party! The idea is that the party is centered around ‘how-to’ cocktails and Christmas carols. I invited a local mixologist to come and demonstrate how to make three different cocktails so that my friends could serve them at their own holiday parties. It’s a great activity that encourages your friends to interact and learn new things. And of course live music can really change the atmosphere of any party so I invited my friend who is a talented pianist to play carols on my husband’s family heirloom baby grand piano. It was such a fun and festive night that I hope to host it again in the future.
Lastly, I wanted my guests to leave with a small gift from me so I bottled the fresh apple cider that we made in small batches specifically for one of the cocktails that we demonstrated. Happy holidays everyone!
