This week, I got to soak up the sunshine during my first beach day of the season! I headed to Tybee Island, which is just outside of Savannah. I spent the day seaside, on Tybee’s three miles of expansive, white sandy beaches. I’m constantly searching for the perfect cover up, since I live at the beach and always need to throw one on. Well, this is definitely my new favorite beach tunic! It’s light and breezy, which is necessary for hot days on the coast. The coral and light blue on this tunic are perfect for summer, and the pom poms add just the right amount of detail. The canvas beach bag is an excellent size because there’s plenty of room to bring towels, sunscreen, and of course, magazines, since no beach day is complete without them!

Mimi and Muff was started by two sisters–Sara and Molly Lloyd–who dreamed of creating their own resort line. They used their backgrounds in interior design and fashion to build a brand that is based on their love of color and the coastal life. Their resort line is inspired by their summers spent visiting their grandparents here, on Saint Simons Island! Not only does their line have a fun beach theme, but all of their fabrics are breathable, which is ideal for summertime. They currently have tunics, dresses, bags, sarongs, and even note cards that you can check out on their website. I adore the playful image of their brand and am excited about my new cover up and Light Blue Meeting House Beach Bag. Who else is ready for summer and sunny beach days?
