A Wine-Inspired Butler’s Pantry

Design Ideas for my New Butler's Pantry

This Post is in Partnership with BLANCO. Thank You for Supporting Brands that Support Lavin Label. As you know, we recently bought a new home in Savannah, Georgia. We're planning some exciting renovations which includes actually moving the current kitchen to an adjacent room and transforming the existing kitchen into a butler's pantry. One of my favorite rooms in a home is the butler's pantry because who doesn't love a space that's solely dedicated to entertaining. And because this room is a bit closed off from the kitchen it allows me to be more playful with the decor, mixing the traditional feel of the rest of the home with more contemporary elements. Today, I'm sharing a design board for the butler's pantry that includes a color palette, tile choices, accessories and fixtures. Since the…

An Ivory Dress for An Autumn Day

A Bell Sleeve Dress from J.McLaughlin

J.McLaughlin White Dress

This Post is in Partnership with J.McLaughlin. Thank You for Supporting the Brands that Support Lavin Label. Now that October is here, I'm catching glimpses of fall with cooler temperatures in most mornings and evenings. The fall-like weather has inspired me to start dressing the part! Even though it's still too warm for boots, leather pants and sweaters in Georgia, we can give a nod to fall by incorporating seasonal accessories with long-sleeve dresses. I donned this off-white dress for an evening at Sea Island Resorts. I love the bell sleeve detail and the soft touch of the Bainbridge cloth making it comfortable yet stylish.  I paired the dress with tan suede kitten heels and a color block linen scarf. I've styled the scarf with so many other outfits this fall that it's becoming…

I'm so excited to share with you my travel guide to Savannah in partnership with Draper James. As you know I moved to Savannah this past summer from St. Simons Island. It's been so much fun exploring new boutiques, restaurants and hotels. I hope to add to this guide as I learn more about Savannah in the next few months. During my day in Savannah, I donned the Geranium Floral Bell Sleeve Dress. The light weight fabric is perfect for walking around the city squares or house stalking on famous Jones Street. Pair the dress with a pair of flats or wedges depending upon your plans in the Hostess City. You'll stand out in the royal…

My Trip to Madison, Wisconsin with Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove

A Recap of My Trip to Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove Headquarters

Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove Harvest Haven

This Post is in Partnership with Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove. Thank you for Supporting Sponsors that Support Lavin Label. A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to travel to Madison, Wisconsin to visit the home of Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove. With my husband in the food and beverage industry and my love of design, I was very familiar with Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances prior to this trip. Their famous red knobs are in the majority of my pinned kitchens on Pinterest (like this French-style kitchen and this classic white beauty). So it was a real treat to tour their factories and meet the talented and humble team of chefs, craftsmen and women and designers of this family owned business since 1945. I left Madison feeling inspired to cook fresh, quality food at home.…

Our New Home in Savannah

An Update with Our Move to Savannah, Georgia

New Home Savannah, Georgia

So... you guessed it! We finally bought a home in Savannah, Georgia! I couldn't wait to share the details with you; however, I couldn't post any images or information because the house wasn't actually on the market. Our realtor, Kristy Valdez with Cora Bett Thomas Realty, ended up finding out about the house through a friend. Because pictures of the interior of the home weren't online and public, I didn't want to publish anything that would impact the owner and the buying process. But, we just closed on the home and we're now the official owners! Right now I only have pictures of the exterior to share but I'll be posting more about the home in the coming weeks and months! In the meantime, I put together a few FAQs from my family and…
