My Weekend in New York City

My Favorite Restaurants + Activities in NYC

Tibi NYC

Last weekend, I popped into New York City for a quick getaway. We were fortunate enough to have sunny skies and breezy days during our entire visit. The trip was just what I needed to unplug and unwind, since these last few weeks have been filled with travel, conferences and meetings. Here's my recap of the weekend in case you're planning a trip to the Big Apple soon. Restaurants: Grand Banks. I'd highly recommend this oyster bar aboard a historic wooden schooner. I ordered a glass of rosé and their celebrated lobster roll. It was delicious and just what my soul needed. We opted to sit at the oyster bar where you have a clear view of the crashing waves and the New York City skyline. The historic boat does sway a good bit…

My Top Five Favorite Rosé Wines

My Current Rosé Obsessions for Summer

Rose

With the warmer temps, you can be sure that I always have one drink on hand for our guests -- a rosé, also known as the Hampton's Gatorade. There's a reason why #YesWayRosé and #RoséAllDay are always trending on social media, especially during the summer months. Today, I'm sharing my top five rosé wines for 2018 that I love to enjoy all summer long. Summer Water. I have to admit, I love the name of this wine and the branding behind it. I also love the crisp taste of the rosé. The Market at Sea Island sells this wine -- which is how I originally discovered it. Expect a dry, light wine with notes of grapefruit, white peaches and strawberries. Hogwash Rosé. On our recent trip to Napa, we met the owner of Hogwash Rosé, an Atlanta…

Beautiful Front Doors From My Trip To France

French Hardware and Front Doors

It's been very exciting wandering the streets of Savannah these past few months looking for our next home! I'm inspired by the history, architecture and people of the Hostess City. My eyes are always drawn to the entry of a home, especially the front door. While we were on our recent trip to France I tried to capture as many front doors as I could on my camera's memory card. I'm hoping that when we find our home in Savannah (so close!) that I can design a custom front door, inspired by these beautiful ones in L'Isle Sur-La-Sorgue. I've rounded up my top 12 favorites straight from the French countryside.

11 Southern Inspired Homes

My Favorite Homes Around Palmetto Bluff

Palmetto Bluff

It's now been a little over a month since we packed up our bags and moved to Palmetto Bluff, a quintessential southern community about 25 minutes from downtown Savannah. It's the perfect place to spend our summer days. Mornings are filled with golf cart rides, long walks with our pups and bike trips to Buffalo's for coffee. The streets are lined with beautiful, southern homes all perfectly painted and landscaped. It's truly a sight to see and these picture perfect homes provide loads of inspiration! Everything about this place makes me happy! I've been sharing a few of my favorites on my Instagram but I thought that I'd compile them in one post to give you a dose of southern goodness.
