A Before and After Look at Our Home Exterior

Before and After Exterior Home

It's a little over two years now that we've been living in our home on St. Simons Island. Recently, I was looking through old pictures of the house post-renovation. It was so fun to see the transformation over the years, especially with our ivy growing strong! Today, I'm outlining four elements that made the biggest impact during our renovation. Paint. Just by painting the existing shutters and front doors, the house had a whole new level of curb appeal. My brother-in-law and I actually painted the shutters ourselves which made it so rewarding to see the end result. Before I chose the colors, I took a picture and opened it up in Photoshop. Then I played around with different colors and I finally decided on Blue Danube by Benjamin Moore for the front doors…

Gingham Check Sundress

A Simple + Sophisticated Dress for Summer

Gal Meets Glam Gingham Checked Dress

My backyard is blooming with Confederate Jasmine and as a result, Casey and I have been taking advantage of spending our free time outdoors! I've also been working from my outdoor patio because the temperatures have been so mild. It's the perfect time to wear another one of my Gal Meets Glam dresses! When Julia's dresses launched in April, I had my eyes on the Judith dress, a flowy gingham check dress perfect for daytime wear. I paired it with my J.McLaughlin circular wicker bag and a pair of Loeffler Randall blush wedges. As you know, I'm a fan of Gal Meets Glam, especially since I featured another pale blue shirt-dress earlier this month. If you're thinking about purchasing a dress, I'd recommend following Gal Meets Glam on Instagram to see how other bloggers are…
