One of my go-to sites for dresses and bags is Zara and I recently found this blue and white stripe beauty for $70! I always get so many compliments on this dress so I thought that I'd share this great find with you! It's perfect for spring temperatures because of the long sleeve and ankle length hem. The beautiful white embroidery and the belt give it a polished and sophisticated look. Lavin Label is Moving to a New City!

This time of year is usually hectic for us but this year it's going to be unusually chaotic! Casey and I have made a really big decision last week and I couldn't wait to share the exciting news with you! We're moving to Savannah, Georgia!! Casey resigned as the Vice President of Sea Island Company last week to accept an offer with Montage Palmetto Bluff as the new General Manager. We're so excited for this opportunity and look forward to our new adventure ahead! It's bittersweet because we love our Sea Island family and St. Simon's community. We have so many dear friends and family on this precious Island which is why decided to keep our house here. Last week, I had the opportunity to tour the HGTV Smart Home located in Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina. Palmetto Bluff as you may know is one of my favorite places so Casey and I try to visit at least once or twice a year. The Smart Home is located in a new neighborhood in the Bluff known as Moreland. Grapefruit and Lavender Stovetop Potpourri

A Fresh + Fruit Forward Potpourri for Spring

I love to do little things around the house to make it feel like spring. Luckily, I have a huge grapefruit tree in my backyard just waiting for me to pick them! So a stovetop potpourri with grapefruit and lavender came to mind. It's such a fresh + fruit forward fragrance making it perfect for springtime. This easy recipe is sure to make your home smell good! I always make my stovetop potpourri in my Le Creuset cookware because it's easy to clean up and looks beautiful when it's not in use! Directions: In a saucepan, combine 3 cups of water, 3 grapefruits (sliced), 4-5 sprigs of lavender and 2 tablespoons vanilla extract. Bring the water to a boil. Then let simmer. I let it simmer for about 45 minutes and my house smelled…
