Recently I visited Bray's Island, in South Carolina, and our days were spent boating, skeet shooting and horseback riding. During the spring, packing practical outfits is important because it's typically warm during the day and chilly at night. I prefer versatile outfits that easily accommodate the temperature swings. So, I turned to one of my longtime favorites, Vineyard Vines for our South Carolina bound getaway! Vineyard Vines clothing is always a great choice for a warm, coastal trip. They blend beautiful colors and preppy patterns to create an effortless look. One of my favorite outfits on this trip was their striped dress and white denim jacket. I love how the dress is super comfortable, while the chunky waist cord highlights your figure. How To Build Your Media Kit

Eight Components to Include in Your Media Kit

How To Disconnect From Social Media

As a blogger, I'm frequently asked how I reach out to both brands and companies. First, I always interact with them on social media so that they're familiar with Lavin Label before I send any pitch. If you want to learn some tips on my first step, check out our recent post on how to help you land your dream partnership. After I interact with the brand or company, I later send a formalized email that always includes my media kit. This information is not only useful, but also an integral part in securing the sponsorship. So today, I'm sharing the components that I include in my media kit. Also, if you would like to see our media kit, sign up for our email list (right sidebar). We'll be sending a copy of our template in next week's newsletter.…

I've been searching for the perfect way to use our grapefruits ever since -- and this past weekend it finally hit me -- fresh grapefruit rosé spritzers! I've recently been on a rosé kick, especially after our trip to Napa. So one afternoon I tested out and played with a few cocktail recipes, until I created my own with the perfect balance of grapefruit & rosé. I made it the following weekend when we hosted a few friends for drinks and appetizers. Here's to inspiring you to host your own gathering for friends! Every year, I look forward to packing up my winter clothes and bringing out my cotton sundresses, off-the-shoulder tops, linen button downs, and swing skirts! On a warm…

Every aspect of Brays Island is magical. If you are ever given the opportunity to visit, don't pass it up! So, today I'm sharing our insider view in the hopes that you are just as inspired to enjoy more outdoor activities this summer!
