Boozy Pecan Pie Milkshake

The Ultimate Pecan Pie Milkshake to Beat the Summer Heat

Pecan Pie Milkshake

This Post is in Partnership with Schermer Pecans. Opinions are 100% my Own Today I'm sharing a boozy pecan pie milkshake that knows how to party! My dad loved to beat the summer heat by sipping on milkshakes, and he passed his love for them onto me! We've had an extremely hot summer in southern Georgia thus far, so it's time to break out the blender! These milkshakes are extra delicious because they're made with the richest ingredients--a large slice of pecan pie (yes, the entire slice!), vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, bourbon and the best pecans out there -- Schermer Pecans. Who can resist a sippable dessert?! Ingredients 1 large slice pecan pie 4 scoops vanilla ice cream 1/4 cup milk 1 shot bourbon, optional Whipped cream Schermers Pecans, roughly chopped Instructions Place all…

One of my go-to outfits for this summer is an off-the-shoulder top with crisp, white skinny jeans. I'm always on the lookout for fun and flirty tops that fit this look. Luckily, Roberta Roller Rabbit has a wonderful selection of boho chic tops! They offer a wide array of clothing for men, women and children, as well as accessories and home furnishings.  I first heard about Roberta Roller Rabbit when they opened a store in Charleston, SC. They also have stores in Southampton, Manhattan, Palm Beach, Dallas, Los Angeles, Newport Beach, Marin and Atlanta. Each store offers a range of hand printed pieces from artisans in India. I love Roberta Roller Rabbit because of the delightful colors, prints and textures that they bring into each collection--like this pink Hoshi Bai top. I'm a big fan of the ruffled neckline…

When I think of the South, I picture grand oak trees, warm weather, and gorgeous cotton poplin dresses. This story just so happens to capture all three of these! I love the classic blue hue of this wrap dress, as well as the flattering cut of the dress. The below-the-knee length makes this dress fun, and it can easily be dressed up or down based on what you pair it with! J.Crew exerts that this is what you're missing from your closet, and after having the opportunity to wear it, I'm certain that they're on to something! It was the perfect outfit to explore the Avenue of the Oaks on Saint Simons Island, with the historic oak trees that are draped in gorgeous Spanish Moss. The flowy bottom of the dress is perfect for summertime, while the A-line shape is…

I'm always surprised to find new places and landmarks on St. Simons Island that I've never explored before. This Island has an abundance of history, and I was glad to learn more about it when I visited Epworth last weekend. In the 1730s, John and Charles Wesley spent a fair amount of time in the area that is now Epworth, while they worked as missionaries. In 1738 John Wesley returned to England and founded the Methodist Church. Thus the area has strong ties to the early Methodist Church as well as the rich history of Saint Simons. This land also served as the former Hamilton Plantation. This fully functioning plantation produced Sea Island cotton, as well as oak and pine timbers. Today, there are two remaining tabby cabins from the plantation that you can visit on,…
