I love the vibrant, tropical colors present in her painting which reminds me of my own recent trip to the Hawaiian Islands. Artist Spotlight: Mary Margaret Monsees

A Q&A with a Savannah Based Artist

Mary Margaret Monsees and Framebridge

Today, I'm so excited to spotlight a talented Savannah-based artist, Mary Margaret Monsees. I've been obsessed with her paintings since I first found them on Instagram over a year ago! I practically saved every post so I knew that I just had to have her designs in my home! I specifically gravitated toward her flower-study paintings and decided that a gallery would be perfect for the large wall in my double parlor. Once I received her originals (full of texture + color!) I sent them to Framebridge to be framed in their Montclare design, a gold tulip pattern. After I hung them, they totally transformed the room and the flowers perfectly compliment my space. Truly, these beauties are show-stopping. The gallery includes flowers that can be found around Savannah such as irises, lilies, azaleas,…

Meet Boot Atelier Miron Crosby at Palmetto Bluff

And Shop Dolly, Exclusive Boots in Partnership with G&G

Summer has finally come to a close which is usually a tough time for me because I live for beach days, cookouts and flip flops. Though this year I'm coping a bit better because in October I have the pleasure of meeting the founding sisters of Miron Crosby at the Artist in Residence Program at Palmetto Bluff. The sisters, Lizzie Means Duplantis and Sarah Means, started a luxury boot brand that is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The designs are inspired by their childhood at their West Texas family cattle ranch. The boots are designed by the talented sisters and finished by hand in New York City. Luckily for us, the founders are participating in the Artist in Residence program, a collaboration between Garden & Gun and Palmetto Bluff that celebrates the arts, fosters creativity…
