Mirabelle Suites
A Charming European Inspired Boutique Hotel in Savannah
Mirabelle Suites is a European-inspired boutique hotel located in the heart of Savannah’s historic district. The owners, Brett and Kim Turner, designed a unique vacation experience based upon their travels throughout Italy and France. They loved the charming, yet hip European boutique inns, thus they combined this style with Savannah’s rich history. In 2014, they opened the hotel in a gorgeous historic building that was built in the 1860s.
The hotel blends European style with southern charm to provide a luxurious experience as well as impeccable service. The suites are all beautifully decorated and even include a gas fireplace. The details in the decor and fine touches transform this hotel into the perfect romantic getaway. They make everyone that walks through the door feel like they’re part of the family and coming home, not like they’re a guest.
The incredible location means guests can enjoy wonderful views of downtown Savannah, as well as easily walk anywhere in the historic district. Mirabelle is across the street from the famous Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, in the heart of the historic district.
Their property Manager, Deborah Scott, knows Savannah like the back of her hand and truly loves to help people plan their visit. Since her husband is a Chef, she knows all of the restaurants and loves to recommend dining options that are off the beaten path, as well as suggest the best dishes at Savannah’s most popular spots.
You may recall this hotel from a previous post I wrote about Mirabelle Cafe, which serves seasonal coffee and espresso creations. They also have wonderful lunch options, including craft made sandwiches and their signature hot turkey brie on a liege waffle. They are known for their delicious liege waffles, which are similar to Belgian waffles. You can’t visit Mirabelle without tasting one for yourself, whether it’s the Georgia Peach Cobbler Waffle, Parfait Waffle, or their mini waffles that are served with coffee. You can relax outside with one of their incredible treats or beverages while enjoying the gorgeous view of St. John’s Cathedral and people watching at one of the best spots in the city. Their staff prides themselves on personally getting to know their guests, which is a highlight of staying at a small hotel. If you’re planning a trip to Savannah, make sure to look into staying at the Mirabelle Suites!
