Decorate Your Front Porch for Fall

Get Ready for Fall with World Market

Opinions are 100% my own.

I LOVE fall — the cooler temperatures, vibrant color palette and of course everything to do with pumpkins! This year, I’ve teamed up with World Market to bring you tips for decorating your front porch. Spoiler alert: you’re going to need to visit your nearest pumpkin patch!

Tip One. Add A Magnolia Garland and Wreath.

A jaw-dropping wreath on your front door creates a powerful statement. I love this beautiful magnolia wreath and garland from World Market, and it went perfectly with our dark wooden gate. All I had to do was fluff the leaves after hanging it up. And voila–the garland and wreath truly transformed the space!

Tip Two. Add Flowering Mums.

Nothing says fall like mums! I place all of my flowering mums in these galvanized buckets in order to mix different elements of design.

Tip Three. Add Lanterns filled with Pumpkins or Candles.

Lighting can create a powerful impact on your entryway. I switched up these zinc metal lanterns by filling half of them with pillar candles and the others with stacked pumpkins. I love the subtle change, and your guests are guaranteed to as well!

Tip Four. Add Pumpkins of Varying Sizes.

I try to stick with one main color when decorating with pumpkins. I loved the green ivy on the walls — so I went with light green and dark green pumpkins to accentuate the ivy. It’s a fun change from traditional orange pumpkins, yet it still yields the classic fall look.

Loving all these light and white pumpkins – so chic! Sadly, the squirrels ate all of our pumpkins (and walked off with the little ones). They made quite a mess while doing so too, hah! 🙁
